The Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) is coming to Orlando this May 4-8, 2014
ARVO 2014 is the annual meeting for members of the association who come to learn about the latest technologies in eye care and medical procedures
Every year, professionals in ophthalmology gather at ARVO to mingle, learn and interact with each other as they seek to enhance their skills and connection to this segment of the medical industry. The event, which will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando in its 2014 edition, will gather thousands of ophthalmologists and eye-related healthcare experts--many of whom are leading researchers, surgeons and educators of ophthalmology.
Attendants of ARVO will be treated to an exclusive keynote presentation by physician Barry Marshall, who is currently Professor of Clinical Microbiology at the University of Western Australia. Dr. Marshall's research led to the discovery of the Helicobacter Pylori bacteria, earning him the Nobel Prize in 2005. Other educational opportunities include breakaway sessions covering topics to include Cell Therapy in Ocular Disease, Tissue Diagnosis in Ophthalmology, and other ocular medicine competencies.
Vista Cay Resort by Millenium is always ready to welcome ARVO participants. Our resort is only a short drive (you can also walk if weather permits) from the Orange County Convention Center's NS North/South Building and close to countless restaurants and other entertainment venues--including Universal Studios and SeaWorld Orlando. We encourage you to make reservations soon enough to secure your stay with us during ARVO 2014.
If you are coming to ARVO this May, we are ready to make your stay a very pleasant experience in the heart of Central Florida’s meeting and tourism district.
