When we opened the door and looked around our mouths feel open. The place was huge. The grandkids ran into every room and shouted "look at this!" When we opened the door to our bedroom and bathroom I could not believe how big it was. From the balcony you could see the lake and we spent every night sitting out there talking and relaxing. The beds were a little hard. Also they did not have many skillets to cook on and only one spatchula to cook with. The pool was great and if you go into the club house they have a machine you can rent movies out of. We drove to Coco beach one day and spent the day swimming in the ocean. It is about an hours drive from the condo and well worth the trip. Just pack a picnic basket to eat when there. Park by the pier because they have bathrooms you can use and outdoor showers and if you do not pack a basket they also have a eating place.

We were upgraded from a 2 bed room deluxe to a three bedroom deluxe, If you want space, Luxury and peaceful surroundings then Vista Cay is a safe bet. 2 Bathrooms, hugh living spaces and Luxury Finishings with all the mod cons including Balcony for that cold lager on a hot night. Its located on universal boulevard which is a 5 minute drive from International Drive.I would say you need a car though there is a small shop on site and a publix supermarket, pizza place and chinese takeaway about a 2 minute drive away. I have to say after a long tiring day at the many theme parks this place was home from home my family really made it theres and theres no fighting over the TV either as there is one in each bedroom plus a Hugh Flat screen in the living area. If you wish to self cater then there is every mod con you need. Even a separate room with a washing machine and dryer for those who run out of clothes. Theres a clubhouse on site with a outside swimming pool which goes up to 5ft, baby pool and a Jacuzzi. Inside computers with internet access, pool tables, some arcade machines and a small gym and a mini cinema if you wish to use it. Forget to mention there is internet access in the condo. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay and would use Vista cay in the future. One thing that you must remember when you first arrive go past vista cay until you reach the Publix supermarket you cant miss it its about 20 seconds past it and next door is where the vista cay reception is where you must book in .REMEMBER THIS!!!! I hope this Helps enjoy your holiday, Forget to mention the lake next to the pool sorry.

“Fantastic place to stay”

we've just returned and far better than expectations. upgraded from 2bed exec to 3 bed exec apartment and it was fabulous. everything was so clean and felt really new. i normally don't walk around barefooted on the carpets and hate lounging on some of the settee's but no issue here. also had been concerned about location but we found it great. parks were all only 10mins away and you avoided international drive to get to them which was a bonus. also a large publix and a NYPD pizza restaurant and takeaway (very good) and a chinese takeaway only a couple of mins walk. it would be difficult without a car though. only irritation was we kept getting phone calls for someone else but as we didn't complain about it it couldn't have been that bad. i've only given a 3 for service because basically other than pool we didn't use anything else and it could do with a bar at the pool. we can't wait to return and wished we lived there.

Have stayed here twice. The first time booked a 2 bed apartment and were upgraded to the 3 bed townhouse. Ver comfortable like a home away from home. In 2007 we found it to be a bit far out, there were no stores or restaurants close enough to walk to and this was an issue if you wanted a drink with dinner, I guess as with most places in Florida, you really need to have a car. When we returned in 2008, there had been further development and there is now a publix supermarket right newt door and I think plans for a drugstore.
The real magic of this place is the space and comfort to feel like you are in your own home, without having to go right out into the suburbs for a villa

This was our 10th trip in 8 years to Orlando. We’ve stayed in exec villas, average villas, condos and Hotels and this was by far the best place. Location is superb....the only place that is more than 5 mins away is Disney and even then it's 10-15 just the same as being in a "Disney villa" our villa was booked privately through a lady who owns 3. Villa was executive standard, had marble worktops 3 bedrooms 4 double beds and 2 baths. We will be booking with her again.
Best for us, having a 3 and 5 year old was the kiddy pool. After those long days in the Parks and not really wanting a swim we could just take the kids down and let them have a splash. They are not swimmers yet, so it also meant they could buy a big blow up Shamu and there was no panick every time they fell off.
A shop and possibly a bar or refreshment service near the pool would make it 5 stars. there is a wallgreens within a 2 min walk though.
A slight downside was the internet access. we needed to check on the volcanic ash situation quite often, but 90% of the time it was occupied by people just sitting there staring at facebook. I use facebook...but not when on my hols??? anyhow it would have just been easier if people had a time limit of say 30 mins or even an hour, one gent was there at 7pm and still sitting there gone 10pm!!! That was all I could find wrong with the place though. LOved it and will be returning soon!!!

“Perfect for any kind of visit to Orlando”

I stayed here in late April/early May for a conference that was across the road at another hotel as a much better cost alternative. The condo was fabulous. Clean, spacious, many amenities and close to lots of Orlando destinations. The whole complex was clean and well maintained including the club house, pools and sports courts. Staff were very helpful and perfectly situated with Publix grocery store, Walgreens and strip mall locations within a minute's walk. Would stay here again for business or leisure.

We arrived in Orlando for the sixth time looking forward to what is our ultimate holiday destination as a family. Having stayed in hotels and villas previously we decided to try Vista Cay after reading positive reviews. We were not disappointed! Just 15 mins from the airport, on a wide and quiet Universal Boulevard is Vista Cay. A gorgeous resort with pools, games room, internet access etc and accomodation second to none. We had a 3 bed 5 star apartment in a block next to the club house-very convenient, booked through Golden Florida. They were great to deal with, as we were given our apartment details and access codes prior to departure and didn't need to check on arrival. Apartment was delightful- 42 inch tv, flat screen tv's and i pod docking stations in all bedrooms and computer and wireless internet access- a must for most teenagers! As we stayed over the Easter period, the pool did become quite busy for a couple of days as you would expect. The large lake out front is great for an afternoon stroll where you may get lucky and see a gator basking. Just 5 mins up Universal Boulevard are the Universal parks. A car is a must as it is close to but not on the busy bustling road that is International Drive. For the days when you are theme parked out, try a 40 min drive to Winter Park for a boat tour around the lake to see beautiful properties ranging from 1-15 million dollars. Or try a trip to Wikeva State park for a swim in a natural spring and hire a canoe to search for gators and snakes.

“Great stay, recommend to all who want self-catering in perfect location”

Due to have stayed 3 weeks, extended 9 days due to volcanic ash. First time to US so do not have a comparator. However, loved the location - note car is a must - 15 mins from airport, WDW, less to SeaWorld. Publix around corner and local convenience store on site.

Units are large (we were in 4802) and were upgraded to a 3 bedroom condo. Lounge, dining and kitchen area spacious and clean. Limited cooking utensils but perfectly adequate. Master bedroom had ensuite which had a spacious shower, other bedrooms shared a 2nd bathroom (bath with shower over). Unit 4-5 years old and very clean and presentable (only possible wish list would be to upgrade shower in master ensuite - slightly tired). Per other posts, yes there are some ants (we regularly saw 4-5 in the ensuite, not many elsewhere) so keep food leftovers tied up. Empty bins (outside flat) 6 days a week so no excuse!

Pool areas well presented, very busy during the Easter week when US children are on their break but if you arrive early (before 9.30am) or late (after 3.30pm) sunbeds are easy to find. Outside of Easter week availability virtually any time of the day. Would have been nice to have a bar/restaurant around the pool (2 drinks machines and sweet/candy machine) but room closeby so saved me some money!

4 computers which you can use (max of 30 mins/over 16s at busy times), basketball court ($5 deposit for ball), 2 pool tables (extra), 1 table football (free), arcade games. Also a plush cinema room available (free, DVD's available to hire).

Mix of US visitors/owners, UK visitors/owners and convention centre/business visitors.

Millenium very helpful in supporting us through our extended vacation and jiggling other guests around so we could stay in the same room.

Loved Orlando, people very friendly, parks great and close. Really relaxed. Can't wait to go back. If we do go back we'll definitely try to get in at Vista Cay.

Fantastic property - very clean. No problems with security issues.

There is everything in the apartment from Hairdryers (we had x2), iron and ironing board, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, blender, hoover the list goes on.

You can park anywhere but we managed to park outside our condo with no problem.

Nice pool and jacuzzi - again very clean and no problem getting a bed. There is a drinks machine at the poolside but no bar - this wasn't a problem as we used to take our own drinks.

Our condo was non-smoking which was great as we are non-smokers - I think you can smoke on the balconies though?

The location was near to the parks as stated, the units were sizeable, we had a 3bd 3.5bath townhome and this was great as it allowed us all privacy. We had some maintenance issues and when I called they were attended to in less than 15 minutes which was great. Also the gated community made us feel safe as when we were in we knew that unless a person had the gate code there were no worries for our safety.

We have just returned from our second holiday at the Vista Cay, and after comparing other accommodations, we knew that this was the perfect place for us to stay. It is ideally located for all the Universal Parks including Wet n Wild, Sea World and Aquatica. Even the Disney resorts are only a 20 minute drive away.

The rooms still have the 'wow factor' when you arrive, so much space and so clean and comfortable. The staff at the Millennium Office were great, and were more than helpful when we asked if we could change the location of the apartment we were given (only because we wanted to be near to where we stayed last time).

We had a wonderful time at the Vista Cay and would recommend this to anyone who likes a touch of luxury to relax in after a hot, tiring day around the parks.
