Orlando is Ready to Welcome the Florida Home Builders Association and SEBC on July 24-26, 2014
The FHBA will host the Southeast Building Conference (SEBC), which will showcase vendors, products, services, and seminars for the homebuilding industry
The Florida Home Builders Association is hosting SEBC 2014 in Orlando, which will be held at the Orlando/Orange County Convention Center. This event is expected to attract over 3,500 homebuilding professionals, including both contractors and remodeling companies, and over 300 manufacturers, suppliers and vendors. Well over 15,000 visitors are expected to attend as well, many of whom are looking to learn about the latest updates in the homebuilding industry, materials available, new construction techniques, and an opportunity to network and interact with other homebuilding professionals from not just Florida, but from all states in the Southeastern U.S.
In the past few years, the U.S. homebuilding industry has experienced a rebound, following the hard times of the real estate crisis. Homebuilders have taken note of the renewed demand for real estate, which has now prompted the industry to scramble to keep up with increased demand. In Florida alone, new subdivisions, master planned community and custom estate home developments are now back in full force and this trend does not seem to be ready to slow down. Florida’s State Attorney Pam Bondi will be a featured speaker, along with Lt. Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera, during the Florida Home Builders Association’s SEBC 2014 convention, where she is expected to share updates on the state of the homebuilding industry and the legal environment in which it now must navigate.
In addition, the SEBC 2014 convention will jointly share convention space with the Summer Builders Conference Meeting Schedule, an educational event supporting the Southeast Building Conference. All in all, the Florida Home Builders Association-hosted event is expected to break attendance records this year thanks to the healthy landscape for new home development in Central Florida and the rest of the state.
