What to do in Central Florida during the 2017 Holiday Season
If you are planning to visit Orlando between now and the end of the year, you’re in for a treat
Orlando is already a cheery place thanks to all of our theme park action, entertainment venues and some of the best weather anywhere around the nation in the Fall and Winter. However, the holidays add an additional element of cheer to the family vacation capital of the world. Here’s what you can do during the holiday season in Orlando:
Disney World – Every theme park under the Disney flag will be decked from floor to the highest structures in holiday glitter and bling. However, the best attraction this holiday season will be experiencing the all-new Disney Springs, featuring amazing shops and restaurants throughout.
Universal Studios – Discover Grinchmas, experience the Macy’s Holiday Parade and enjoy the new Skull Island: Reign of Kong ride this holiday season at Universal Orlando. And don’t forget to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Diagon Alley attractions.
SeaWorld Orlando – This holiday season the SeaWorld Christmas Celebration is featuring a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer experience along with live entertainment, holiday shopping and food venues for the whole family to enjoy through the end of the year.
Kennedy Space Center – Holidays in Space is every future astronaut’s dream as NASA’s Kennedy Space Center transforms its Saturn V rocket experience into a canvas where images of future space missions—including Mars Mission—on its fuselage for everyone’s enjoyment.
And if you’re not into the whole theme park thing, there will be plenty more reasons to come to Orlando during the holidays as our shopping malls, International Drive and even the Orange County Convention Center welcome tourists and business travelers with our warmer version of this special season.
Of course, if you’re coming to Orlando you should remember to book your stay at Vista Cay Resort by Millenium so you can always retreat to the peace and comfort of our amazing property. We look forward to seeing you soon—during and after the holidays!
