World-Class Golf is a Way of Life in Central Florida
If you are visiting Orlando on vacation or during a convention and need to get away somewhere other than a theme park, then golf may be your best way to enjoy a “good walk spoiled”
As we enter the Fall Season, Florida’s warm sun is not as strong as it is during the summer months and the mornings are balmy-yet-fresh enough to warrant 18 holes of fun under the sun. And if you are looking for an incredible golf experience, Vista Cay Resort by Millenium is located near several golf courses that are as challenging as they are pleasant to play.
Start with the MetroWest Golf Course in Southwest Orlando.Located about 15 minutes from our resort property, this semi-private golf course allows visitors and has an excellent restaurant that serves American-style cuisine.
Next, ChampionsGate Golf Club offers two premier 18-hole courses: one with a traditional American golf play experience and another one with an Australian flair inspired by the legendary Greg Norman. ChampionsGate is about 30 minutes south of International Drive.
Finally, Dubsdread Golf Course is located near Downtown Orlando, a bit off the beaten path for tourists, but worth an Uber ride to enjoy a course that is a favorite among locals. Dubsdread features a traditional 18-hole golf course near the historical town of Winter Park, Florida.
There are plenty more golf courses throughout Central Florida that may be of your interest. When you arrive at Vista Cay Resort by Millenium, be sure to inquire about golf courses in the area and start enjoying a different kind of Orlando attraction. And don't forget to book your stay at a great price this Fall!
