The Whirlydome is Orlando’s Premier non-Theme Park Destination for Families
This hidden gem of an attraction is located in the north end of International Drive in Orlando We know that tourists come to Orlando to spend their hard-earned money in experiences ranging from theme parks to shopping malls.
Every year we have millions of visitors to the area who also try to take a break from the theme parks by enjoying some of the best non-theme park attractions Orlando has to offer—about 100-plus at last count. The Whirlydome is just the kind of place where you can take a break from Disney or Universal without breaking the piggy bank. And if that isn’t enough, it is located a short drive away from our Vista Cay Resort by Millenium.
The Whirlydome is a unique attraction that features a Whirlyball court, which consists of a mix of jai alai, a basketball and hockey while driving bump cars. The Whirlydome’s Whirlyball court is over 4,000 square feet in size, allowing two teams to play against each other with the objective of scoring against the other. And that’s not all—the Whirlydome features a laser tag attraction and video game arcade fit for the enjoyment of your entire family. But all of those fun and games are not good unless you have great food and a bar and this is where Bloodhound Brew Pub & Eatery comes into play with great beer, great food and great ambiance—and we promise you won’t be missing going to the theme parks.
Vista Cay Resort by Millenium is a short drive away from the Whirlydome, which is located halfway between Kirkman Road and Sandlake Road on International Drive. We cannot stress how fun it is to spend an afternoon at Whirlydome—and we know your whole family will be thankful while you will save big bucks for the day. As the summer season nears, be sure to book early your stay with us since availability will decrease as June and July arrive.
